Hi Everyone, I have successfully managed to set up MRTG on my OSX 10.2.8 box, with great help from Martin Rheumer. I have a question with regards to the output of cfgmaker. I ran it on on my switches, and it gave me a weird reply. On my switches that are in stacks, it comes back with extra ports. As an example, I have a stack of 3 Baystack 450 switches, with 24 ports per switch. It should be 72, but the final number it comes back with is 88. Is this normal? On a stand alone switch, it will come back with the correct number of ports.
The other question I have is in regards to the output I received after running MRTG: Rateup WARNING: /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/rateup Can't rename 10.2.0.7_14.log to 10.2.0.7_14.old updating log file Rateup WARNING: /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/rateup could not read the primary log file for 10.2.0.7_15 Rateup WARNING: /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/rateup The backup log file for 10.2.0.7_15 was invalid as well Rateup WARNING: /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/rateup Can't remove 10.2.0.7_15.old updating log file Rateup WARNING: /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/rateup Can't rename 10.2.0.7_15.log to 10.2.0.7_15.old updating log file Rateup WARNING: /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/rateup could not read the primary log file for 10.2.0.7_16 Rateup WARNING: /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/rateup The backup log file for 10.2.0.7_16 was invalid as well Rateup WARNING: /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/rateup Can't remove 10.2.0.7_16.old updating log file Rateup WARNING: /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/rateup Can't rename 10.2.0.7_16.log to 10.2.0.7_16.old updating log file Rateup WARNING: /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/rateup could not read the primary log file for 10.2.0.7_129 Rateup WARNING: /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/rateup The backup log file for 10.2.0.7_129 was invalid as well Rateup WARNING: /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/rateup Can't remove 10.2.0.7_129.old updating log file Rateup WARNING: /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/rateup Can't rename 10.2.0.7_129.log to 10.2.0.7_129.old updating log file Is this to be expected? Thank you in advance, and I'm sorry if these questions are pretty basic.
