The first thing I would do is verify that you launch MRTG with the --logging option turned on. Then examine your log file and verify that your devices are getting polled correctly.
--logging filename|eventlog If this is set to writable filename, all output from mrtg (warnings, debug messages, errors) will go to filename. If you are running on Win32 you can specify eventlog instead of a filename which will send all error to the windows event log. NOTE:Note, there is no Message DLL for mrtg. This has the side effect that the windows event logger will display a nice message with every entry in the event log, complaing about the fact that mrtg has no message dll. If any of the Windows folks want to contribute one, they are welcome. -----Original Message----- From: Sherwin T [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, February 13, 2004 8:29 AM To: Gogulamudi Basa Mallika; [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [mrtg] Re: MRTG IS NOT GETTING UPDATED Hi! Try to check if the index is changed. To prevent that, I suggest to use --ifref=ip so that it will not base to the index number but to it's ip address. regards, --- Gogulamudi Basa Mallika <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hai all, > > Some of my MRTG CONFIG files are not > running/updating ....
