If your running NT and have the drive formatted as NTFS you can use file security, I've no idea about unix. I'd seriously consider moving pages that want different user access into different folders (to make it easy to manage) and permission the folders. Set the SYSTEM account and whatever user the server runs (plus the local Admin) in with Full Control, then give the user the appropriate permissions. Unless your server and users are using domains this can be a right effort, as you'd have to setup each users login and password on the server to enable them to view the pages easily, and it becomes a pain to manage. Alternatively, you can setup unique logons for groups of users and distribute the login/pass details.
