Thanks. I got everything now that I need but for one last item. I need to find a way to get reversing to work via cfgmaker.
Target[ezci]: -1:[EMAIL PROTECTED] After that I am done. Thanks Tv -----Original Message----- From: Neil Jowsey [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, June 04, 2004 9:48 AM To: Anthony Valuikas Subject: RE: [mrtg] Cfgmaker / win32 I monitor a number of identical pieces of equipment... But my method would work as long as you don't have too many different types. I don't use config maker, but have a batch file that builds complete config files from a master port text file (a template) and just adds in the unique bits. Eg Port description for a title, IP address, OID number etc. This repeatedly called until a config file with all 32 ports is built. I rebuild the whole file every time a make change to the equipment eg enable a new port. I'm sure you can do this with config maker, but it takes me only a few minutes to create a fresh config from scratch for a new device. Just a thought. Can send you more details if you wish.
