Hello,

The IOS we are running causes the outbound counters to spike to extreme values
on high speed interfaces. OC192 interfaces that top out at 10 Gig can show
invalid output data in the multi Terabit range. This causes the real traffic
to appear as a flat line at the bottom of the graph.

I implemented the AbsMax variable in the configuration and it corrected the
problem for the OC48 and Gigabit Ethernet interfaces but doesn't work for the
OC192s.

Target[Some interface]: \Phsycalint:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:::::2
MaxBytes[Some interface]: 1244000000
AbsMax[Some interface]: 1244000000

Our MRTG 2.10.13 server is running on Solaris 9 but I'm still using flat
files for the collection logs. I also upgraded perl to 5.8.

Has anyone else seen/fixed this issue.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Joe Bohnenstiehl
