All you need to do is make sure you have an snmp client on
all your boxen that you would like to monitor. For linux,
I'd say go with net-snmp. For windows, stay away from the
standard stuff - check out Garth Williams' awesome SNMP Informant.
Using the standard Microsoft snmp agent will give all sorts of
troubles...

Hi All

Just got into mrtg recently and have been able to monitor my network
adapters.

Would like to move to the next step of being able to monitor other
machines ethernet interfaces from the one machine.

Has anyone got examples how how this is done.

Trying to do it from a linux box to a linux box, then will attempt
windows.

Hope to hear from someone soon.

regards

Joseph
