I am having a great deal of trouble rec'ing snmp info from my snmp
enamble devices.
I can query the loacalhost no problem but when i send a request to my
cisco 2600 series router
i get a No Response Error
This is the contents of my snmpd.conf
more /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf
rocommunity t3lx
And the following is my snmp commands on the cisco 2600
logging trap notifications
logging facility local6
logging 192.168.11.28
snmp-server community t3lx RO
snmp-server location 60 Hudson, 23rd floor.
snmp-server contact Michael DiMartino
snmp-server chassis-id 60HUDSONST
snmp-server enable traps snmp authentication linkdown linkup coldstart
warmstart
snmp-server enable traps tty
snmp-server enable traps isdn call-information
snmp-server enable traps config
snmp-server enable traps entity
snmp-server enable traps bgp
snmp-server enable traps frame-relay
snmp-server enable traps rtr
snmp-server host 192.168.11.28 t3lx
and this the result of the snmpwalk command to the cisco 2600
snmpwalk -v 1 -c t3lx 192.168.11.1 interface
Timeout: No Response from 192.168.11.1
snmpwalk -v 1 -c t3lx 192.168.11.1 system
Timeout: No Response from 192.168.11.1
Any idea why this falling?
