We're doing this very thing. Use a line as follows:
Target[<device-name>_rtr<x>]:
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.42.1.2.10.1.1.<x>3.6.1.4.1.9.9.42.1.2.10.1.1.<x>:<read-str
ing>@<device-name>:

Where x = the rtr instance. That works on the 6500 platform.

Is that what the % symbol means next to GetIf's .index? I was trying tof
ind out what it meant, as ti didn't seem to load.

But I actually had to download the .my files and mibcc the rtr mib as well
as all the dependent ones as well, so it *should* be fine - unless the
newly created mib also needs those other compiled mibs (rfc1213,
cisco-frame-relay, etc etc) -----Original Message-----

Hi,

If the RTR mibs can not connect to the mib tree in the Getif, (one or more
missing mibs between the tree and the new mibs) then you will not see RTR
in Getif.

Check the declarations at the top of the RTR mib files.
