Here's how I run cfgmaker: perl cfgmaker --ifref=name --ifdesc=alias --no-down --show-op-down\ --snmp-options=:::::2 --subdirs=SNMPNAME --if-template=if.template\ --output=temp.cfg [EMAIL PROTECTED]
I believe the key is the --show-op-down. As long as the port is down, you'll see 0 traffic on the graph. When it becomes active, you'll see actual data. I usually create a script to run cfgmaker and then run the script in cron once a day or so.. It eliminated that problem.. Pete ---- Peter P. Is there a way that I can get configmaker to list operationally down ports but not comment them out ? Ports that may be down today may be up later. Getting tired of manually editing the config files. Tried --no-down but that didn't make any difference.
