I try to get SNMP info on a router, and I have some problems ...
cfg-maker --version outputs : cfgmaker for mrtg-2.10.13
OS is Linux Debian
_if I try :_
$ cfgmaker --snmp-options=:161::::2 \
[EMAIL PROTECTED] --output=/etc/mrtg.cfg
it gives me, for each interface, these messages :
--base: snmpget [EMAIL PROTECTED]:161::::2:v4only for ifHighSpeed.1 ->
Mb/s
--base: snmpget [EMAIL PROTECTED]:161::::2:v4only for ifHCInOctets.1 ->
--base: check for HighspeedCounters faild ... Droping back to V1
and in /etc/mrtg.cfg, all the interfaces are commented
_if I try :_
$ cfgmaker --snmp-options=:161::::2c \
[EMAIL PROTECTED] --output=/etc/mrtg.cfg
in /etc/mrtg.cfg, only the WAN interface is uncommented (althought I
have a LAN linked on one of the LAN interface)
and running MRTG tells me :
ERROR: Target[192.168.1.254_3][_IN_] ' $target->[0]{$mode} c' (warn):
(Missing operator before c?)
ERROR: Target[192.168.1.254_3][_OUT_] ' $target->[0]{$mode} c' (warn):
(Missing operator before c?)
I figured out that the 'c' in question is the one of "2c" appearing in
the configuration file as a SNMP options.
Does anyone has any idea ?
