Also a few years back, I monitored some Adtran devices, DSU/CSU. Don't 
remember the model, they're working fine.  Do you have another tool to walk the 
MIB to see if your devices respond to snmp query, tool such as Openview's 
snmpwalk or Net-SNMP's snmpwalk (freeware)?

A few years ago, I tried to monitor several Adtran Atlas 
800 series units but never was able to get anything meaningful
out of them. Apparently the traffic that passes through the
interfaces does not result in the snmp counters incrementing.
