Hi, you can get a lot of information from an SNMP Agent installed on the system. SMTP: All the information needed is in the MTA MIB. If no MTA MIB available: See solution for POP3. POP3: If the agent is net-snmp (mainly all free OS) there is a little documentet feature inthe confuguration: logMatch. Very easy to configure. This counts numbers of regexp in a logfile.I use it to could queued mail, rejected mail, SPAM,... Just look through the features of the SNMP agent. It can provide you with a LOT of information. -- Unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Archive http://lists.ee.ethz.ch/mrtg FAQ http://faq.mrtg.org Homepage http://www.mrtg.org WebAdmin http://lists.ee.ethz.ch/lsg2.cgi
