Changing the Maxbytes value affects only new data. All old datapoints remain in the graph until they drop off. For spikes in the daily graph you have to wait 28 hours before the spike is gone. For the yearly graph you have to wait 400 days.
"Logscale" and "Secondmean" were introduced in MRTG 2.11. See http://people.ee.ethz.ch/~oetiker/webtools/mrtg/mrtg-reference.html for details. Does that setting only affect new data, as in, once the report is already made, you have to wait 24 hours for the new setting to take place? Can someone tell me how to deal with logscape and seconmean options, they do not show up in the cfgmaker manual at all, at least, not as far as I can tell. -- ------------------------------------------------------------- Scott Haneda Tel: 415.898.2602 <http://www.newgeo.com> Novato, CA U.S.A. _________________________________________________________ Het ministerie van Sociale Zaken en Werkgelegenheid sluit elke aansprakelijkheid uit in verband met het niet juist, onvolledig of niet tijdig overkomen van de informatie in deze e-mail.
