Laurent,

By default MRTG will compute the rate per second. Assuming you have the normal
5 minute interval between 2 polls the difference between the old and new value
need to be over 300 to graph 1 per second.
You can add 'Gauge' at the options line to graph the values as they are polled.
The gauge option however causes graphs to grow steady over time.
The perminute or perhour options are alternatives that compute the rate per
minute or per hour.

HTH,

Jan.

Subject: [mrtg] problzem with a script, datas file log and old not udating

Hi,

my MaxBytes is 125000, and my values are between 11000 and 12000 with a
difference of 10 to 100.

My log file is updated with the value of the new measure.measure, and
the old file take the value of the old log file.

but the difference between new and old value is not computed.

The datas for graphs stay at zero all of the time.

I can't find why

laurent
