John, There used to be some good explanation with 2 small perl scripts from Paul Simmonson on the Internet. Be aware that the minimum polling interval with plain MRTG is 5 minutes. If you want to use a smaller polling interval you have to use rrd as well. By the way, if you have the EVAperf data up-and-running in MRTG can you share it so I do not have to dig into the same?.
