Hello -
Do you have host authorization enabled on the switch(es)? If so, then
assuming you are running this on a different host than the others,
you need to add the new IP to the host tables.

Hi,
I am a newbie with MRTG & in process of implementing MRTG for
Network Monitoring via SNMP for my LAN switches, devices & servers.
Problem is on one of my NT 4.0 Exchange 5.5 server - I keep getting
the below error & unable to get the mrtg web pages. Do I need to do
something special for Exchange5.5? The same process works fine on my
NT 4.0 PDC & all other Windows 2003/2000 servers, switches, devices.
D:\MRTG\Bin>perl mrtg Inexch1.cfg
Error with Exchange server- D:\mrtg\bin>perl cfgmaker
[EMAIL PROTECTED] --global "WorkDir: D:\MRTGReports\Exchange"
--output Exchange.cfg
--base: Get Device Info on [EMAIL PROTECTED]:
WARNING: Skipping [EMAIL PROTECTED]: as no info could be retrieved
--base: Writing Exchange.cfg
Please advice.
