So, there is not any way to measure this traffic because the interface is
not physical?

Yep, probably in and out through the same board.  If the traffic
doesn't hit the backplane, the counter isn't incremented.  What you
see is probably little more than session setups.

It has been a while since I accessed this stuff, so I am not
up to speed with current development.  This said, I would be
very surprised if there isn't a way to keep stats.
