Rafael,

Yes, this is de correct OID. Where you run this walk ? In a Windows 2000
server?
Because, when a do this walk in my server a get this...

Snmputil.exe walk 192.168.1.13 public .1.3.6.1.2.1.25.2.3.1.3

Variable = host.hrStorage.hrStorageTable.hrStorageEntry.hrStorageDescr.1
Value    = String A:\

Variable = host.hrStorage.hrStorageTable.hrStorageEntry.hrStorageDescr.2
Value = String C:\ Label: Serial Number f4cb7a39

Variable = host.hrStorage.hrStorageTable.hrStorageEntry.hrStorageDescr.3
Value    = String D:\

Variable = host.hrStorage.hrStorageTable.hrStorageEntry.hrStorageDescr.4
Value    = String E:\ Label:Aplication  Serial Number 561e00da

Variable = host.hrStorage.hrStorageTable.hrStorageEntry.hrStorageDescr.5
Value    = String F:\ Label:Data  Serial Number 63ab276

Variable = host.hrStorage.hrStorageTable.hrStorageEntry.hrStorageDescr.6
Value    = String Virtual Memory

But Physical Memory does not exists in difference with 2003 server.

 Hi Luciano,

When I walk to this OID you gave, I have the following output:

snmpwalk -v 2c -c <COMMUNITY> <IP_ADDRESS> 1.3.6.1.2.1.25.2.3.1.3

HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageDescr.1 = STRING: A:\

HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageDescr.2 = STRING: C:\ Label:local disk
Serial Number ac4dc255

HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageDescr.3 = STRING: D:\

HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageDescr.4 = STRING: E:\ Label:local disk
Serial Number 960c1587

HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageDescr.5 = STRING: H:\ Label:DMX  Serial
Number f8cf31e7

HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageDescr.6 = STRING: I:\ Label:DMX  Serial
Number 84f46db2

HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageDescr.7 = STRING: P:\ Label:DMX  Serial
Number 6611ffaa

HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageDescr.8 = STRING: Z:\ Label:DMX  Serial
Number b220fbdd

HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageDescr.9 = STRING: Virtual Memory

HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrStorageDescr.10 = STRING: Physical Memory

Is this OID really what you want? Maybe if you sum .9 and .10 you get the
total memory. :)

*Subject:* [mrtg] OID for Physical Memory in W2000 Server

People,

I´m trying to configure a mrtg server to get some data from my windows
server, but i have a problem only with windows 2000 server.
When walk for 1.3.6.1.2.1.25.2.3.1.3 OID i could not get information about
Physical Memory .
Is windows 2000 only show Virtual Memory ?? Because in windows 2003 server
i can get the Physical Memory OID.

Or is this other way to get the amout of Physical Memory avaliable on
windows 2000 server ?

Thanks in advance and sorry for my very bad english. I need more practice.

Luciano.
