That was it... I added my filter before the host and now all my VE
interfaces are gone from the CFG file. Thank you for your help with
this....

The filter option must be specified before the host, not after.
That allows more than one host to be polled at a time, with different
options. I don't know of anyone using that syntax, but that's why it is
there.
