To help diagnose any problems, it would be helpful to post the MRTG .cfg file you are using (all of the definition, not just the Target line), plus the MRTG .log file (probably attach this or embed it as text) plus the graph image, the exact version of MRTG, and an explanation of why you think the graph does not match the data (since I gather your problem is that you think the data in the .log file is correct, but the graph does not match this, rather than the .log file being incorrect and not matching retrieved data?)
There is a possibility that your polling is not occurring at strict intervals and data normalisation is taking place (or averaging, or buckets being missed out). Steve
