Thanks for your suggestions. "--logging=mrtg.log" is a good idea which I was not aware of. I'll try that. I have to find how to configure logrotate.d :)

If you really don't want mail messages, then add MAILTO="" at the top of your crontab. Or, port everything to a logfile: [mcdonal...@ldap ~]$ sudo cat /etc/cron.d/mrtg */5 * * * * mrtg /usr/local/bin/mrtg /var/mrtg/cfg/mrtg.cfg --logging=mrtg.log With the --logging directive, there is no output, except to the log file. I added mrtg.log to logrotate.d as well. -- Daniel J McDonald, CCIE #2495, CISSP #78281, CNX Austin Energy http://www.austinenergy.com -- View this message in context: http://n2.nabble.com/keep-getting-cron-warning-mails-even...-tp2187838p2199476.html Sent from the MRTG Users Mailinglist mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ mrtg mailing list [email protected] https://lists.oetiker.ch/cgi-bin/listinfo/mrtg
