Are you still polling in 5-minute intervals? The Interval directive just tells MRTG how often you are polling so it can calculate properly, and may adjust polling if running as a daemon (just guessing there). You still have to modify you cron job (or whatever you're using to poll) to reflect the 10-minute interval.

About Mrtg interval; Dear everyone: I'm having some questions about MRTG "Interval". My first question is:How does this property work? You know, from the document of "mrtg- reference",I was told that [In this example, we tell mrtg that we will be calling it every 10 minutes. If you are calling mrtg every 5 minutes, you can leave this line commented out. Example: Interval: 10 ] I've set it to 10,but when I go to look in the log file, the timestamps interval is still 5 minutes. 1240107823 63302366081520 26021759941618 1240107823 3931947 1501968 3931947 1501968 1240107223 3995147 1610704 3995147 1610704 1240107000 3995147 1610704 3995147 1610704 1240106700 3941595 1549050 3995147 1610704 1240106400 3923105 1527762 3923105 1527762 1240106100 4132041 1550535 4204185 1558399 Why is that? My second question is : Which porperty of "interval" does MRTG use calculate the Max incoming/outgoing traffic? Can it be setting? Thank you in advance!
