Also, what is meant by "In MRTG I went through all folders and did a find (of 
the old WAN IP) and replaced it with the new IP".  Did you replace things 
outside of the config file?

How about running cfgmaker against just the single router to create a temporary 
config and copy and paste it's critical parts into your old config?
