This is more a Nagios problem, really. In your nagios checkcommands.cfg, where you define the check_local_mrtgtraf command, make sure that you put quotes around $ARG1$ and then this will work. In general, you should ALWAYS quote the $ARGn$ parameters in Nagios definitions else you could cause all sort of problems.
