Is there a way to use community string indexing within mrtg/routers2
such that I can poll STP topology for all VLANs? For example, currently
I can poll and graph the object dot1dStpTopChanges 1.3.6.1.2.1.17.2.4
from the BRIDGE-MIB using a script similar to the following: and this is
great to display the changes for default VLAN 1

Target[10.10.10.1stp1]:
1.3.6.1.2.1.17.2.4.0&1.3.6.1.2.1.17.2.4.0:[email protected]
YLegend[10.10.10.1stp1]: STP Topologyhanges since last reload
ShortLegend[10.10.10.1stp1]: Topology Changesnges for VLAN 1</h1>
Legend1[10.10.10.1stp1]: STP Changes
Legend2[10.10.10.1stp1]:
Legend3[10.10.10.1stp1]:
Legend4[10.10.10.1stp1]:
LegendI[10.10.10.1stp1]: &nbsp;dot1dStpTopChanges
LegendO[10.10.10.1stp1]:
SetEnv[10.10.10.1stp1]: MRTG_INT_IP="" MRTG_INT_DESCR="Vlan 1"
routers.cgi*Icon[10.10.10.1stp1]: cisco-sm.gif
MaxBytes[10.10.10.1stp1]: 500
Options[10.10.10.1stp1]: gauge, growright, nopercent
Title[10.10.10.1stp1]: STP Topology Changes since last reload
PageTop[10.10.10.1stp1]: <h1>STP Topology Changes for VLAN 1</h1>

However what if I want to check other VLANs say 12

[r...@host]# snmpwalk -v2c -c pub...@12 10.10.10.1 1.3.6.1.2.1.17.2.4.0
SNMPv2-SMI::mib-2.17.2.4.0 = Counter32: 121

Can this be done?

Thanks
Chuck
