You can do this in a couple of ways. 1) Check the types of these interfaces. It may be they are all similar types, and you can exclude them using the filter option to cfgmaker. Alternatively if their names all match a certain pattern then you can exclude them this way. I use this method to avoid dial-up links in our ISDN router. 2) Make a custom interface template that does the same, possibly using a lookup file. This might be more work but is more flexible.
The recommended way to achieve this is, I believe, using the filter option to cfgmaker. We have just started a project to move our remote PBX units to Cisco Call Manager of our 2811 routers at our remote sites (about 360 location) I ran cfgmaker on a lab router that was setup for this application and found that it generates many interfaces (up to 100+) and I am not interested in monitoring these or any other interfaces associated with the phones at least at this time. I hope some one out there can guide me to a resolution hopefully with a template . I will consider all suggestions.
