Hi folks,
I have been working with MRTG for two months. Today I came up with an
idea to monitor my system using MRTG ( just because of curiosity). But
when I run the cfgmaker it's giving a cfg file with no target.
This is my cfg file.
# Created by
# /usr/bin/cfgmaker --global 'WorkDir: /home/Ashok/mrtg2/Temp'
--global 'Options[_]: bits,growright' --output

# WorkDir: /home/http/mrtg
# or for NT
# WorkDir: c:\mrtgdata
### Global Defaults
# to get bits instead of bytes and graphs growing to the right
# Options[_]: growright, bits
EnableIPv6: no
WorkDir: /home/Ashok/mrtg2/Temp

This host has to be running the SNMP daemon and it's configuration needs
to allow the MRTG host to poll it. On SuSE, the default is to allow
only localhost talk to snmpd. And don't forget iptables if you are
running that on this workstation.
