1. Go to the recordsource of the form, invoke the query builder by hitting the
three dot button to the right of this property. Run the query, see if it looks
ok.

2. Go to the control source of the field in question. What is the value in that
property? Is this one of the fields in the field list?

Is this happening for all the fields on the form?

Did you add the text box by dragging a field from the field list? If not, try
that and see if it works.

Just a couple of options that I hope helps.

Hi,

I am creating a form with a Tab control and when I add a textbox
control I am getting an error: "#NAME?" in the text box
field when I open the form for user input.

Any ideas why? I have checked the Control Source and
I believe I have it pointing to the correct table & field
to draw the data from.

Thanks,
Greg
