Hi Joe,

In your client table, you need to have the client data id as your
primary key. In your incident table you need to have a field called
client data id and have it as a foreign key. You also need to create a
one-to-many relationship between the client data id in each table. You
could then create a query that takes both of these tables. On the
client table bring down all of the fields that you need and on the
incident table bring down the client data id and enter the following in
the criteria: Is Null.

This should display all of the clients that do not have any incidents.
You could then create a form based on this query if you wish.

Hope this helps.

Jose

Subject: [ms_access] Need help with a form using two tables....Only one
with data???

Hi,

I'm try to create a query using two tables:
1.Client
2.Incident

The client table has typical client data Id, Name, DOB etc..
The incident table will add "incident data" to a client since one
client can have many incidents.
The problem I am having is, when I create the query it shows no data
at all, I would like it to show the client data with no incident
data, which will be added in a form...

I hope this makes sense to someone....

Any help/samples or places to look would be great!!

Thanks In Advance

Joe
