I’m importing a text file to access. When it’s opened in notepade it contains, characters like “ƒ”, “┘” etc in any postion in a three digit field. Like 09┘, 0┘1,.. When I import the file I choose a txt file type and these characters import. I’d like the file to import without these characters but with the number each represents. Would choosing a different file type convert these characters? Or, where can I find what numeral each represents?
