I have a database which I use to manage instructions for packing service parts.
Once component of the system contains photographs, saved in Excel spreasheets, which show how the parts are to be packaged and their order of packing. The users enter part number and quantity into a form and the system opens a report which contains a hyperlink to the appropriate spreadsheet. Previously I used the On Open event of the report to run the docmd.hyperlink.follow command to open up the spreadsheet for printing. However, my organization upgraded to Office XP and in the process, initiated security which treats all hyperlinks as potential virus. When I run the report now the system kicks me out of Access. I am looking for an alternative method of opening the spreadsheet from Access without using the .follow command. Thanks in advance. ------------------------ Yahoo!
