Sounds like a library reference problem.  Open any module in the VB
editor.
Choose References from the Tools menu.  Uncheck any libraries marked
MISSING.  You should have at least Access, VBA, and either DAO or ADO
libraries loaded.

Subject: [ms_access] Date function no longer works

I'm running ACCESS 2002. I had to rebuild my operating system and thus 
reinstall ACCESS. I had an application which used the date function in 
a form for a field. Now I get an error and the field contents is Name?. 
Is there something I have to do to get the functions activated?
