I would like to record a form that would be the same as another one i already have, but that would filter data (for instance field "Date of death" is null.) Is there a simple way to do that ? (Using a query instead of tables for the new form would probably be a too dangerous way, obliging to maintain the two forms separetely). I have tried to filter the form when opened, it works, then record it, but it seems to "forget" the filter when i open it again

If it is, then you need to work through the development of the database through your school class. This group will more than be happy to help you solve problems you have while you develop your program, but we will not teach you how to develop Access databases nor will we build your database for you. Your class, on-line tutorials, and many books are available to provide you with instructions on how to build databases...and the Northwind database that comes with Access is an excellent tool to start with. Proverbs 16:3 -------------- Original message -------------- From: "laferrer1024" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I am asking for help...to those who are expert in MS Acces. I'm preparing for db using msaccess. I am not familiar yet with its functions. I need to generate reports that summarize the statistics i needed. For example: how many female and male, how many were in high school and college...etc. Thank you very much.. YAHOO! GROUPS LINKS Visit your group "ms_access" on the web.
