When do you run the update query? Right after the update query runs is when you
should refresh/requery the two comboboxes.

That's exactly what is happening - I have 2 comboboxes on my form, NewWOList
and PendingWOList.
What happens is, new work orders show up in the NewWOList ("Status" 0
WorkOrders) and are "Acknowledged". Once they are acknowledged, they then
become a "Pending" WO ("Status" is updated from 0 to 1 at this point), which
means it needs to disappear from the NewWOlist combobox and show up in the
"PendingWOlist" combobox. This is all accomplished by updating the "status"
of the WO in the table using an update query when the new WO is
acknowledged. It's either a status 0 which is New or status 1 which is
pending.

Why would you need to requery the combobox each time you press the
down-arrow? You should only need to requery a combobox when you actually
append/update/delete records in the underlying combobox's row source.

Hi All,
What event should I use if I have a combo box that is based on a query and I
need to requery it as soon as I click the down arrow? I've tried using the
"On Enter" event, but that didn't seem to work. If I use docmd.requery,
will it requery all of my controls on the form? I only want to requery that
one combobox.
As always, thanks in advance :)
