Ok, I'm stumped. I'm desiging an Access db that shows a cable layout.
Problem 1. Cables have two (or more) ends. Plug-a and plug-b with
individule wire between. Putting the two plugs into a Wire table
violates 1nf right away.
Problem 2. If I know the plug has 10 pins, how do I make a form that
asks for wire 1 info, then wire 2, then wire three, etc? In other
words, how do I tell the Wire table that the Plug table wants to add 10
wires?
I'll try and post a Excel file that shows the table I have so far. I
don't have the access done yet. I wanted to 'get my head around it',
first.
