Hi guys.

I have an interesting situation.

I have a subform for Orders. I have a combobox that looks up to a
table called Catalog. It's a list of products used in the order
subform.

In the catalog I have product code, description etc... and Sale
Price, which is fixed or recommended.

In the subform I have a field called OrdersSalePrice, which usually
is the same as the Catalog SalePrice. Sometimes there is a discount
and on and on.

Unfortunately right now the user has to manually enter the Orders
Saleprice.

I'm wondering is there a way to default the value in Orders Saleprice
to equal the Catalog SalePrice, with off course the option to
overwrite it.

Basically the user would choose the item from the combobox, move over
and in the Orders Saleprice it would automatically have the default
value equal to what is in the Catalog SalePrice. If all things are
normal, the user would move past this and viola, end of line item,
and moving on to the next record.

I'm thinking something along the lines of BEforeUpdate, or setting
the Orders Saleprice default value equal to the Catalog SalePrice.

Anyone with any ideas or have had experience with a similar dilemma.

Thanks.
