usually found good information in them.
Then Element-K came along and acquired them, since then my office has
been bombarded from mulitple locations and with different style
letters all pretending to be invoices.
I have a very long fuse, but this burns me up. Element-K Journals is
now sending renewal notices once a week to 3 locations in my office
for subscriptions I have never asked for. They wont react to 1
person, but if you all pass this on, maybe we can effect a change.
This is the letter I sent them today. Please feel free to pass it on
to other harassed computer professionals.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Element-K Computer:
I am fed up! Your mail spamming of renewal notices for magazines I
have never subcribed to is nothing less than an Invoicing Scam.
You will immediatly cancel all my subscriptions to your productions
and remove my name and address from all your mailing and email lists!
I am recommending to my manager that all ELI K subscriptions be
cancelled. And I have a second from the harassed accounting clerk!
Enough is enough.
