Well, Office 2003 has a FileDialog object, but that's not available in 2000,
so you'll have to call the Windows API to open the standard dialog to find a
different file. See the code at:

Subject: [ms_access] How to return the full path of a file?
First I develop in MSAccess 2003 and distribute to MSAccess 2000.
I have created a form with a field call txtFullPath I would like to
create a find button that will allow the user to search their hard
drive including mapped drives and return the full path of the file
selected, so that this can be used to link an Excel spreadsheet.
Currently I have the full path & file name defaulted.
I know this has been done before but I'm not sure how any help would
be great.
Thanks
Eileen
