You can do that in a Form, but I don't think you can do that in a Report.

Subject: [ms_access] renew object in bound frame
I have a bound frame that I would like to display a different excel
chart for each different product. I can change the source document,
but when I try to create the link I get runtime 2793 - cant perform
the specified operation in the action property of the VB procedure.
I get the same error with acOLEUpdate. I have also tried to requery,
it doesnt break the code, but doesnt refresh the box either. Ive
spent hours on this and cant figure it out. Any help would be great.
Private Sub RenewFluxLinChart()
FluxLinChart.Class = "Excel.Sheet"
FluxLinChart.OLETypeAllowed = acOLELinked
FluxLinChart.SourceDoc = "E:\Links\Int\" & [Forms]![Datasheet]!
[Serial Number] & "\FluxLin.xls"
Reports![FinalTestDatasheetInt].FluxLinChart.Action = ""> End Sub
Thanks,
~Chad
