Brad forget what the table shows, it's irrelevant.  The table is not a 
spreadsheet and you should *never* be opening it to look at data.

You display your data on a form or in a report.  Those are based on a 
Query and not a Table and in the form and the Report you can format and 
display your data any way you want.
