You could set up a form then use 2 combo boxes to select the years to compare and 3 text boxes to display the output. These could have 4 columns any of which can be hidden, or you could use a lookup in the code and just have the date in the combo box. Set an event on the afterupdate of the second combo box. Your code would look like this.
text1=combo1.column(2)/combo2.column(2) text2=combo1.column(3)/combo2.column(3) text3=combo1.column(4)/combo2.column(4) or if you go the path of lookups you will need temporary variables in order to obtain the values of varA,B,and C based on the year. Let me know if you would like elaboration on either of these. ~Chad --- In [email protected], "takeadoe" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Dear NG - I'm very new to Access and would appreciate some guidance. > My table looks like the following: > > Year County VarA VarB VarC etc. > 1982 Athens 900 50 11.7 > 1983 Athens 700 40 21 > > All I want to do is calculate the % change in Variables A, B, and C > from 1982 to 1983.
