If I want to automate a text box with today's date to be used in a
query how would I do that?
I have placed =now() for a date to be automatically placed in the box
when the form opens but the query does not see the date. It is as if
the date has not been entered even though it shows up. I tried
placing the =now() formula in the before update section of the text
box properties, and have tried placing the formula in the text box
itself, but the query still does not pick up the date and returns an
empty report.
Any idea on how to get the text box to update itself when the form
opens so the query can see the data as a date?
