Hello, Everyone!

I am creating a database in which I have to enter document data.

For example: Date Sent, Date Received (by recipient), Date Required,
etc.

I would like to put the date a document is received by the client in
one field and have access take that date and calculate a "Due Date"
in another filed "Due Date" by adding 21 days to the "Received Date"
field and entering the calculated date in the "Due Date" field.

For example: I have to send out lists of questions to a recipient
on "Date Sent" and the Recipient receives the list on "Date Recd" and
must have the answers back on my desk 21 days (20 days after receipt,
exclusive of the day of receipt).

A useful variation would be to enter the date in the "Date Received"
field, the number of days allowed for response in another "Days
Field" and then tell Access to take the "Date Received" date, add the
number of days entered in the "Days" Field and then enter the
calculated date in the "Due Date" field.

How do I get Access to do this for me?

Thanks very much in advance!

Harold
