IS there a conflict with VBA in XP vs 2000 format?

Have a MDE file setup in 2000 format that works fine on my machine.
As it is about 1GB in size, it is zipped and then setup on the web for
downloading. When I test the download and the working condition of
the application on my machine after the download, all is fine.

Enter the client - they download, unzip, and upon opening the program
an error message appears "The Visual Basic for Applications project in
the database is corrupt".

My environment: WinXP Pro, MSAccess 2003
Theirs: <not sure of the OS yet>, MSAccess XP

Any troubleshooting suggestions?

TIA
