To trap the ModifiedBy information, create a textbox on the form, where the
default value is left blank. Insert the following in the BeforeUpdate Event
of the form.

Private Sub Form_BeforeUpdate(Cancel As Integer)
Me. ModifiedDate = Date()
End Sub

Subject: [ms_access] Adding A Last Change or Modified Date/Time Stamp

I have a database that is shared amoung multiple users. I would like
to have a field in my data table that automatically enters in a
Date/Time stamp whenever the record has either been created or when one
of the fields within a particular record has been populated or changed.

Thanks!

Marc
