Exp1:[First Name] & " "& [Last Name]
Exp2:[Last Name] &", "&[Last Name]
Exp3:[First Name]&[Last Name]

The first result would be Dawn Crosier
The second result would be Crosier, Dawn
The third result would be DawnCrosier

If you want to create an update query and remove spaces, then look for help
on Trim() and Instr() functions.

Subject: [ms_access] Queries Combining Multiple Fields

In a query, how does one combine several fields? For example, I have
"Man's last name"
"Woman's last name"
"Contact's last name"

Is it possible to get rid of any blank spaces?

Thanks,

Tony
