Hi all, Yesterday I made the mistake of allowing Windows update to run on my shop manager's PC. Now Windows questions the opening of any access db on the server. It refers to the risks of downloading unsigned software. local versions on her PC, no problem.
But the worst problem, is that she cannot open a server resident database if someone else is already using it. Every one else can. She has "Open Mode" set to Shared, and Record Locking set to No Locks. Two of the databases on the server are not split, the other one is, but all have the same problem. We are still using Access 2000 Is this a "feature" that the group members have seen or better still, cured. Regards, Keith
