You can also use the Excel spreadsheet as virtual Access file. It keeps beeing an Excel file (you can do whatever function you want with Excel on this file), but is seen by your Access database as an table on which you can do queries, reports etc. Proceed so : Menu File / External data / Link the table, then browse to find your Excel spreadsheet, then decide its name for Access.
