Sounds like you want to know the Order. You would then use the Order By in your SQL Syntax or pick Acending or Decending from the Sort line in the design view of your query.
Now if you are wanting the order by which they were entered, you should add a primary key that automatically increases after each record is added then you can sort by that. Hope this was helpful.
