[ms_access] I need a little help with some Text.

I have a small comments field that I would like to replace any and all 
Carriage-return Line-feed combinations with a "space".  Is there a 
function in Access that  converts someStringVal to someNewStringVal ?  
This was a common fun in another database that I used but have not been 
able to find it in Access.  If there is no such function, does anyone 
here have a good work around for doing this?
